My name is Katie Ramirez, I'm a sophomore at Blue Valley West, and I am 16 y/o. I have eight sibling's so our house is full all the time, and filled with screaming. Some of my hobbies are taking pictures, hanging out with my friends and family, and anything that has to do with exploring and going outside.
When I am taking pictures I like to take pictures of things that are around me, I don't really like going out of my way to create something. I like taking pictures of things that others have created or things that are around me but I know will look good in a way. I guess you can say that I like admiring the work of others by taking pictures of it and making it better in a picture; whether it's with a different angle, lighting, point of view, etc. When developing pictures I like the contrast to be very strong to get the dark areas noticeable only if its something that stays still the whole time though. When it comes to developing pictures of people I like them to have a softer contrast and lighter areas around, because I feel like when you do that you show the innocence in them with only a single picture.
